Other Experience

Business | “Unicornis”, 2018 - 2020

Owning a small business gave me a deeper understanding of e-commerce as well as the ability to see a business perspective in decision-making.

Logistics | “Kuehne+Nagel”, 2017

While working with the EDI system in transport, I managed to improve the use of the system’s functionalities which reduced the time employees (system users) spent on completing main daily tasks. I identified user pain points and effectively solved them, achieving the best results using minimal resources.

Analytics | “Smart Continent”, 2015 - 2016

I have a working experience as an analyst which helps me in gathering, systemizing, analyzing, and truly understanding various data quickly and efficiently.

facts about me

Random & Not So Random

My main motivation

The ability to help people is what drives me. It’s the reason I got into the UX field - to use my best qualities for something meaningful and do it every day.

Don’t get me wrong - I like helping businesses too, but at the end of the day, it’s the users that I care about the most.

Learning

I enjoy learning new things and deepening my knowledge. Especially in the field that I feel passionate about - UX design.

If you have a tech podcast that you can recommend, or you can’t wait to tell someone about a science article you’ve read - we’ll probably be friends. For me, conversations that awaken curiosity, make us think about unique ideas, or simply give new knowledge and perspective are one of the most enjoyable things in this world.

What I couldn’t (or wouldn’t want to) live without

  • My family and friends. Including my cat, his name is Cookie and he is THE best cat in the world. Every dog person loved my cat, so the cuteness is indeed phenomenal (I consider myself a cat AND a dog person, in case you were wondering).
  • Music. Headphones. My guitars and piano. And singing. At home I sing WAY too much, I guess it’s a good sign that neighbors aren’t complaining, right? Well, at least not yet...
  • My pencils, paintbrushes, and paint. And my drawing tablet. I never got hooked on meditating, but drawing/painting is my version of it and probably the closest I’ll ever get to meditating (I either fell asleep or almost fell asleep EVERY time I tried actual meditating. Meditating just not gonna happen for me, I’m a lost cause on this one).
  • Coffee. It’s my cup of happiness (that’s what’s written on my cup!).
  • Long walks with a friend. I mean casual 20 000 steps walks, usually every week no matter the weather. Just walking and talking. Best therapy ever!
  • Books. Just because books are awesome, there really is no need for more explanation.

Award for scrolling

You actually scrolled this far? Nice!!! What an amazing (and probably bored as hell) human you must be!

The award for that is meeting my home office comrade, the one and only, THE Cat of all cats - Cookie! (4 of thousands of photos I have of him, I know, I know - I qualify for a crazy cat lady too well, even though I like dogs just as much!).
